Hydrophilic Nanorods Technical SpecificationsDescriptionHighly luminescent semiconductor nanorods coated with hydrophilic organic molecules. CompositionCdSe spherical core capped with epitaxial ZnS shell. The surface hydrophilic layer contains carboxyl groups through which nanorods may be easily attached to proteins, antibodies and oligonucleotides. Shipping formAqueous solution in triply distilled water. The indicated weight of nanorods relates to the CdSe core only and does not include ZnS cap and organic shell. StorageSealed container, keep in dark, store at 4°C, do not freeze! Self-life6 months unopened. SolubilityReadily soluble in water and phosphate and TRIS buffers.
